About love and Its holidays...

Today was V-Day, the non Jewish Holiday of Love...cards, flowers, chocolates, etc :)
I said non Jewish Holiday of Love, because we also have a day to be proud of: Tu Be Av, the 15th of the month of Av, is OUR Holiday of Love, and it puzzles me how specially in the Diaspora this day is basically ignored or definitely downplayed...why?
Wouldn't it be nice if Jews could have a day to celebrate the miracle of loving and being loved? I have the impression that we Jews are focusing a bit too much on grieving, on remembering all the bad things that happened to us throughout history.
Sure, they did happen, and it's our duty to remember, but it's our duty to be beSimcha, too.
There is a time for everything, remember?
So i think that with G-d's help i will start to make a big deal about Tu Be Av...
And here is a link on Tu Be Av for all my Jewish and non Jewish friends that don't know about it:
