Sukkat David HaNofelet!!

Shavua Tov everybody!
So Sukkot is over, SImchat Torah  was nice ( i catered cakes and challot for a  Bar Mitzvah) and Shabbat passed very quickly, we have great friends over from Belarus, i exercised mu comprehension of Russian Language, and we had a very good time together...

And now, about our sukka: as usual, we started building it only the day before the beginning of Sukkot, so the whole thing had to be completed in very few hours: Alec and his friend started putting together the pieces of wood and connect them with screws and plastic belts, and in a relatively short time the skeleton was up.
It was incredible, with all the kids jumping around, crying, asking for food and drinks, we had almost finished our sukka! And it was not skia yet!
But, my positive thoughts were suddenly frozen by a loud noise: when Alec had put down the very last palm leave on the roof of the sukka, the wooden structure had collapsed to the floor, leaving my son Moshe screaming "Sukka! Bvoke!".
"Too bad!", i thought, and went back to the kitchen, trying to convince myself that there was still time.
I bake some stuff, roasted some stuff, grilled some stuff, and the "boys" were building the sukka from zero.
Again, the structure was ready, and the kids were helping with the palm leaves...crashhhhhhh!
Everything on the floor again.
At that point, i could have despaired (it was right before shkia), but thank G-d i was too busy to stop and think, so i just prayed that we would have a place where to eat that night, and went on getting clothes ready and trying to fit food in the full freezer.
Alec and Boruch (that's his friend's name) rebuilt the skeleton and put the palm leaves on top in no time, and this time the sukka was much stronger, the kids were super excited and they were swinging their toy tools, and i thought that NOW the Holiday could start.
Still, every time during Birkat haMazon we would mention "Sukkat Davit haNofelet", i would look up at the schach, then look at my husband with a half smile, and nod...:)
