Getting ready for Pesach
Today i started to clean up the kitchen for Pesach...well, the meat side at least :) lots of vacuuming, packing, checking, scrubbing...
The stomach flu that i had for the last couple of days is getting less strong, so i am trying to speed up the preparations to be able to cook and specially bake in advance...not to mention that we have an Erev Pesach Birthday boy, our Moshe Luca, so every year we have this interesting small birthday party with some home baked kosher for Pesach goodies and party hats ;)
The weather is really cold today, winter again, the forecast says that it will snow for the next few days, so i got reminded of this Bob Dylan song, called "Girl from the North Country": it was originally written for one of Dylan's first girlfriends, a girl that lived in his home town in Minnesota...that is the "North Country" Dylan is referring to, with howling winds and everything...well, today i am reminded of the fact that Cleveland is also in the Midwest, and we get pretty mean winds here as well :)
