Preparations
We are gonna be spending Rosh HaShana in Venice, thanks to our good friends Ramy and Shachar Banin that invited us to get a small vacation up north...
We are all very excited because we love Venice, and because we will for once get to be guests and not hosts, in a place with a bigger observant Jewish community, with more kids for our sons to play with, etc.
Now i am all into the preparations, i have been ironing and folding and washing for the past few days, and tonight i was supposed to shorten Alec's pants, but i am so tired that i can barely keep my eyes open...i would end up sewing a funny hem :)
It's the first time we spend Rosh HaShana away from Napoli since we moved here, and i admit that i will miss baking my special sweet challa, preparing the apples and the honey...masochist? Maybe.
But i will still get to bake lots of Lekach for Erev Yom Kippur!!!!
