The tale of the blueberries :)))))

We were on our train ride from Napoli to Venice, the kids were going nuts, we were exhausted after quite a few hours of non stop screaming and jumping, so Alec decided to get off at the next train stop and rinse a little container of blueberries that we had brought from Napoli. We figured that the train would stop for a few minutes...so Alec gets off, i entertain the kids with my phone/mp3 player...and the train starts moving! After a few minutes, i realize that Alec is not coming back, and i start to worry what if he didn't make it to the train?????? Immediately, i picture myself in the train arriving to Venice, with 3 big heavy bags plus all the little ones, 4 screaming kids and the double stroller...mmmh i would NOT be able to get off that train. Alec MUST be on. Meanwhile, the kids are starting to look around, Taty is not around, where is he, so i make the music louder and try to call Alec: his phone rings right over me, from the luggage storage :((((
Right when i am starting to loose hope and the other passengers in our compartment were starting to look at me with a sad commiseration look, Alec appeared, with the blueberries nonetheless!!
The train had started moving while he was rinsing the famous blueberries, so he ran towards it with the dripping berries, he banged and tried to scream to stop it, but the conductor told him no way the train can't be stopped. Thank G-d Alec is not a guy that gives up easily, so he ran to the last wagon with an open door, and hopped on, still holding the blueberries (only a few had gotten lost in the race).
The kids said: "Thank you Taty!!" And we exchanged a look that was worth a thousand words...:)
