A few thoughts
Since Sunday, i have been thinking about our situation here in Napoli, and i was wandering: "What can i do more than what i am already doing?"
I know that Hashem is the ultimate source for all the berachot that we get, but i still feel that we need to do our job the best we can, to make a vessel for these berachot.
So i decided that my job right now is to make our place as nice as possible, even though we can't buy new furniture and stuff, it doesn't mean that the apartment has to look old and dusty :)
So i started fixing stuff, yesterday i painted the walls in the big corridor, and today i cleaned one big door, bringing it back to its original color (lol!!!!)
Now, don't think that i had never cleaned our place, but with 4 children and no help, once i finish the routine cleaning there is no time left for the extras.
But since i see that is good for me to do it, i am gonna continue to dedicate at least 20 minutes a day to the "refinement" program, which for sure will result into a better quality of life for us, and, who knows? Maybe Berachot come down faster in a cleaner vessel :)
Not to mention that sometimes cleaning outside brings clarity inside too! ;)
