The little fish that could (and still can!!!!)

At the end of the summer we bought a cute little red fish, and we used an old rice cooker bowl as his "house".
The kids put some cars and a stone in the container to make him "play", as they said, and every morning i would give him some fish food, and he would happily eat, swimming around cheerfully.
To say the truth, i also grew fond of our little pet.
Then, Sukkot came, and with it our sukka, the famous one that fell several times.
We were so stressed, running to but more wood, more supplies last minute, that we completely forgot about our fishy.
The poor one was neglected, alone in his pool, for several days, and when i finally realized it i was sure that he was  already dead.
But no! There he was, swimming around...i could not believe it!
Of course, he was happy to see some fish food, but it seems like somehow he had eaten some stuff that had fallen into his pool from the nearby plants...
Anyway, the rain season started, and we could not get out of the house for quite a few days...another challenge for our poor fishy :(
And again, he survived, and he is still there: now i feed him pretty regularly, check on him, and he seems completely ok...
Our miracle fish, that survived so far much longer than all the other fishes that we had bought before (and they were fed regularly and we would change the water in their pool weekly)!
