Lag BaOmer! And My Birthday!
It has been a very nice day, i got balloons from Alec and the kids, and this morning we had breakfast with this:
(Napoleon Cake with strawberries and pastry cream, homemade)
And then we went to an event organized in a Center fro Russian Jews here in Marlboro. The kids had a blast, there were lots of rides, they got roasted marshmallows, cotton candy (Moshe and Yosef didn't realize that it was something edible) and played some games for which they got prizes...
We came home around 4.30, ready to crash on the couch, and i must say very hungry!!
The kids were playing with their prizes, so we had an early dinner :P
I must say that i missed our traditional Lag BaOmer birthday party, with food cooked on the spot and very good friends and the music from our laptop banging in out terrace in Napoli, where the sky is already without clouds almost every day by now...
But we are ready to start our life here, and we are planning to keep this tradition, in a different country, but with the same spirit...Lechatchila Ariber!
