Back to the 6 of us...

After a week of fun, Alec's parents left this morning...the kids were kind of sad, but we made them feel better by telling them that they can talk to them on Skype soon, and show them their pictures and school papers...
I must say that i had a very good time, and it was nice to be able to have family around (my father showed up for a couple of days, too), and to have somebody to entertain our volcanic little kids...:)
I am lucky to have a very nice mother in law, and when i see her i feel like she is a second mother to me (mine unfortunately passed away a few years ago), i guess it's in times like this that i realize how much i miss her...
Today we are back to routine, putting the house in order, running after the kids (or escaping from kids running after you), laundry, budget, etc, and...i have just realized that it will be Channuka in a few days!! Time to organize all the gelt and presents and to set up the menorah...Didi wanted a menorah to light on his own, will have to figure something out, maybe i will make something out of modeling paste, or wood...
And tonight is Yud Tet Kislev, so i will probably bake  a cake to have for dinner as celebration...
Here is a link to what happened on Yud Tet Kislev:

This day is considered the Rosh HaShana of Chassidut, because from this day on Chassidut really started spreading exponentially...so may we blessed with a year full of chassidische nachat!
